Ariya Aladjem Wolf is a New Orleans (Bulbancha), Louisiana (USA) based artist, Ariya Aladjem Wolf’s, creative work is collaborative in spirit. She is a founding member of Southerly Gold, an all-female photography collective; performs in the vocal ensemble, Serpentine, who use sound and the creation of activated space to facilitate places for transformation and healing; and additionally, co-founded the organization, One Bird, dedicated to community youth arts programs,. She directs the photography program at the University of New Orleans.

Her research at the Footnote centre in Belgrade centers around her Jewish matrilineal roots and uncovering stories of her ancestors from Serbia. Following on from the body of work which explored notions of family, community, impermanence, and time, prompted her to further consider lost blood relatives and to seek out subterranean stories that are here.
