One Woman Empathy Circus

For years, Katarina has been experimenting with taking on different personas through a practice of deep empathy, in order to explore the world through alternative perspectives. She likens her practice to that of a "medium" who convenes with spirits and allows herself to become possessed by characters. As a Serb born in Yorkshire, raised in Norway, studied in London and now living in Wales, both the theory and practice of her work originates from the daily necessity of inhabiting and switching between many selves.

The event will begin with a performative introduction by Katarina, followed by a 45-minute screening of films and informal Q&A afterwards.
